Nancy has an extensive education and video gaming background. She has been teaching kids for more than 20 years across 2 countries, from ages 18 months to 18 years old, and especially loves teaching video game classes on Outschool. She promotes individuality and self-expression in all of her students with her signature fun and relaxed class environment.

Lindsey is a gamer, pastry chef, and sign language interpreter who has been working in special education since 2020. She has had a love of games most of her life, specifically the creativity Minecraft offers. Her classes foster an inclusive environment for any kind of gamer, and shows there isn't just one way to play.
"Every kid learns and plays differently. My classes offer a safe place for kids to be themselves and game how they want to game, while learning how to get along and work together with kids that are different from them."

Mikel has over 20 years of experience coaching kids of all ages in recreational and competitive sports. He has transformed his coaching expertise into a unique teaching approach that helps kids develop essential social and life skills, setting them up for future success. Mikel specializes in using team-based gaming to teach leadership, communication, and critical thinking, all while creating a safe and fun environment where students can thrive and be themselves.

Kitty is a life-long gamer with many years of tutoring experience, and she loves to educate through entertainment. With a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, she spends most of her time building structures and villages in sandbox games like Minecraft. Other times, you can find her playing cozy, story-rich RPGs or family-friendly MMOs. Her classes foster inclusivity and creativity while teaching that there is a lesson to be learned in everything.

Ashton is a passionate video game educator with a lifelong love for gaming, starting with classics like The Lion King and Super Mario World on the SNES. Having played games since she was a toddler, she brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her teaching. Ashton has worked closely with neurodivergent children, including volunteering as a counselor at TEAAM's Kamp Kaleidoscope. She has also tutored 6-12 year olds in reading, understanding the power of personalized learning using each child's special interests. When she's not playing video games, you'll usually find her building model kits, playing Magic: The Gathering, or brushing up on her art skills.

Julie is a veteran teacher of the New Jersey school system and taught General Music classes with a focus on Preschool and Elementary students for many years. She has played video games ever since teaming up with her younger sister to ask/beg their parents for a Sega Genesis!

Marta is a professional artist, avid gamer, and animal lover. She has over ten years of experience teaching, tutoring, and caring for children of all ages, from as young as two to as old as 18. Marta believes strongly in meeting her students where they are and personalizing each lesson to suit how her students learn best. Marta has played games and made art since toddlerhood and loves sharing her love and passion with others. When she’s not making art or playing game, Marta spends time with her plethora of pets and riding her horse.
